After 4,300 miles I rolled into Downtown DC today. I will expound on this later when I have had a chance to recover and reflect but today I mostly feel lucky. Luck that I had the opportunity to take this trip, lucky I stayed healthy, lucky Alister was a beast and suffered no significant mechanicals, and lucky to have seen so much of the Country.
I am also thankful. So many people made this trip possible and as fun as it has been. Thank you all.
The last few days have been full of rain, mud, and feeling blue over Jason’s premature departure. Now it is time to celebrate, dry out, clean up, and enjoy some time with friends and family. I promise to post some wrap up content over the next week but for now this guy is going to have a beer or two!
